The AK-74 Series Flash Hider by Strela Gen 2 with Detent Pin Adapter – .308 Win / AK-12 Model is a high-performance, military-grade muzzle device from the renowned Ukrainian manufacturer Strela, trusted by special forces and built for demanding tactical applications. Engineered specifically for .308 Winchester (7.62 NATO) calibers on adapted AK-74 series platforms or compatible builds (such as the AK-12 model configuration), this Gen 2 flash hider delivers exceptional flash suppression, making it ideal for low-light shooting, night vision compatibility, and reduced signature in defensive, hunting, or competitive scenarios.
Crafted from durable 45 steel with a rugged Armor Black finish (Cerakote-style for superior corrosion and wear resistance), it features an advanced design that dramatically minimizes muzzle flash—drawing from Strela’s proven Gen 2 technology known to eliminate up to 99% of visible flash on standard barrels in related models. The device redirects blast and sound forward at an angle toward the target, lowering perceived noise for the shooter, decreasing detection risk, and enhancing overall concealment during nighttime or tactical operations.
This version includes an integrated detent pin adapter for secure, precise alignment and reliable locking on barrels threaded 5/8-24 (common for .308 Win adaptations). Easy to install, it provides battle-proven reliability without compromising performance.
