The Apex Tactical Forward Set Trigger Kit for Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 (Classic style) is a premium upgrade engineered to transform the shooting experience of your M&P M2.0 pistol. This patented drop-in kit delivers a smoother, more consistent trigger pull while significantly reducing pre-travel, over-travel, and reset distance—ideal for duty, competition, or everyday carry enthusiasts looking to enhance accuracy and control.
Key performance improvements include:
- Reduces trigger pull weight by approximately 2 lbs (from factory levels, often resulting in a crisp 4-5 lb pull depending on spring configuration and pistol tolerances)
- Shortens overall trigger travel by about 40%
- Provides shorter over-travel and quicker, shorter reset for faster follow-up shots
- Features a center-mounted pivoting trigger safety (similar to popular designs like Glock) for reliable safety without compromise
- Delivers a clean, crisp break with minimal creep for improved precision
The classic trigger style offers a traditional curved or ergonomic feel (as selected), constructed with high-quality materials for durability and a premium look/feel. It’s specifically designed for Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 polymer-frame pistols in 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and compatible calibers (including Compact models)—not compatible with original M&P series, Shield models, or certain metal-frame variants unless specified.
