FN 15 GUARDIAN 5.56 NATO/.223 REM 16″ BARREL 30RD BLACK

The FN 15 Guardian applies the FN battle-proven blueprint to a brand new MSR making FN quality accessible to all home defenders and sport shooters. Proven to perform on any front this new carbine has the critical upgrades for tack-driving accuracy with a nitrided 16-inch CMV steel MIL-B-11595 barrel and 15-inch free-float aluminum handguard. The mid-length gas system reduces recoil impulse with a low-profile gas block impinging gas to the mil-spec bolt carrier. – At 6.6 lbs. the light fast-handling carbine includes the right upgrades for constant control. The pistol grip and magazines are in-mold stippled for superior grip with the 6-position stock offering a tight lock-up and an ideal cheek weld. A 24-slot M-LOK free-float aluminum handguard offers all the mounting real estate for lights and sights and an anti-rotation pinch-lock design mates to the upper receiver ready to mount any optic. – Specs – Caliber: 5.56x45mm – Operation: Direct impingement – Mag Capacity: 30 Rd. – Weight: 6.6 lb. – Barrel Length: 16 – Overall Length: 32.1-35.5 – Twist Rate: 1:7 RH – PRIMARY FEATURES – 15-inch free-float handguard with continuous 12 O’clock Picatinny rail 24 M-LOK slots at 3 6 and 9 O’clock – Precision-tuned 16-inch barrel mid-length – 8620 steel nitride-coated bolt carrier and 9310 steel MPI bolt – Mid-length gas system low-profile gas block – RECEIVER – Slick-side upper receiver reduces snag points and cleaning time – 9310 bolt MPI/HP tested – Gas key MIL-SPEC sealed torqued and staked – Forged 7075 lower receiver; hard coat anodized – BARREL – 16-inch nitride coated barrel; 1:7 twist – 4150 Chrome-Moly-Vanadium Steel MIL-B-11595 MPI/HP tested – High pressure tested MPI after proof firing – A2-style flash hider 1/2×28 TPI – HANDGUARD 15-inch extruded aluminum free-floating continuous top rail 24 M-LOK slots – FURNITURE – Custom FN 6-position snag-free buttstock with multiple sling attachment points – Ergonomic FN pistol grip at 19.5 angle and aggressive texturing for complete control – TRIGGER MIL-SPEC trigger – OPERATING CONTROLS MIL-SPEC charging handle and safety selector – MAGAZINE 30-round FN polymer magazine
