Forward Controls LDFA or Low Drag Forward Assist is optimized for ARs with ambi charging handles and provides an overall lower profile for your rifle to mitigate snagging. Forward Controls Design is always looking for ways to improve the firearms parts that most users overlook and the LDFA is no exception. Ultimately, if you’re running an ambidextrous charging handle, you may jam your hand on the forward assist if you’re charging it on the right side. However, if you’re using the Low Drag Forward Assist, you’ll virtually eliminate the chance of catching your hand. This LDFA is Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finished and features a textured surface.
