7.62mm Suppressor Alignment Gauge
The Geissele Suppressor Alignment Gauge (SAG) is a precision tool designed to verify suppressor alignment with the bore of a firearm barrel. Since suppressors are typically much longer than the barrel and muzzle device, even a small deviation at the mounting interface can result in significant misalignment at the suppressor exit hole. The Geissele SAG ensures proper alignment, reducing the risk of baffle strikes and optimizing suppressor performance.
Manufactured from hardened steel, the SAG is ground 0.002” under nominal bore diameter to accommodate variations in barrel bore diameters and straightness. Its finely finished exterior is straight to 0.001” over its length, ensuring precise measurements. The hardened construction prevents wear from abrasive powder residue, eliminates burr formation, and resists particle embedding, making it a durable and reliable tool for firearm enthusiasts and professionals.

Note: The Geissele SAG is used to verify an unloaded weapons suppressor alignment before being fired After use always check your unloaded weapons barrel for any obstruction before shooting.
Suppressor alignment is determined by several factors:
1. Centerline alignment (offset and angular) of the barrel threads to the bore.
2. Perpendicularity of the barrel shoulder to the threads.
3. Alignment of the muzzle device’s internal diameter threads and torque shoulder to the suppressor attachment geometry.
4. Alignment of the suppressor mounting ID geometry to the bore of the suppressor.
