KNS Precision “Discarder” Adjustable Gas Regulator – FN SCAR 16S / 17S / 20SThe KNS Precision “Discarder” is the ultimate solution for tuning the FN SCAR platform, effectively solving the “over-gassing” issue common when shooting suppressed or with high-pressure ammunition. Unlike the factory gas plug which only offers two settings, the Discarder provides a massive range of adjustment, allowing you to dial in your rifle for maximum reliability, softer recoil, and significantly reduced wear on your bolt carrier and rear trunnion.
Ultimate Suppression ControlThe FN SCAR is notorious for its aggressive cyclic rate when paired with a suppressor. The Discarder features a unique venting design that allows excess gas to be “discarded” before it hits the piston, rather than just restricting it. This prevents back-pressure buildup, keeps your action cleaner, and eliminates the “gas-to-the-face” experience typical of suppressed SCAR rifles.
Precision Click-Adjustable DesignFeaturing 42 distinct, tactile adjustment positions, the Discarder allows for fine-tuning that a standard regulator simply cannot match. The adjustment is tool-less and can be done easily in the field. This level of control ensures your rifle cycles perfectly across a wide variety of barrel lengths, calibers, and suppressor types.
Key Features:
- 42 Adjustment Settings: Fine-tune your gas system for any load or suppressor configuration.
- Reduced Component Wear: Prevents the bolt carrier from slamming into the rear trunnion, extending the life of your SCAR.
- Tool-Less Adjustment: Change settings on the fly without needing specialized equipment.
- Venting Technology: Safely discards excess gas to reduce back-pressure and fouling.
- Drop-In Installation: Directly replaces the factory gas regulator without permanent modifications.
