The ME Medium AK M-Lok Handguard is a high-performance tactical upgrade for AK-based carbines and shotguns (including Saiga models, Vepr, AK-47/AKM/AK-74 patterns in 7.62x39mm, 5.45x39mm, and compatible platforms). CNC-machined from premium aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with durable Cerakote coating, this medium-length handguard provides a rock-solid solution for mounting optics and accessories while maintaining a lightweight, heat-resistant design.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Integrated top Picatinny (1913) rail – perfect for mounting red dot sights (Holosun, Aimpoint, Vortex), collimators, or low-profile optics without interfering with mechanical iron sights
- M-LOK slots on sides and bottom – modular attachment points for tactical lights, lasers, vertical grips, bipods, or additional Picatinny sections
- Medium length 257 mm for improved forward grip, better heat management, and balanced handling on carbines or shotguns
- Ultra-lightweight at only 308 g – reduces rifle weight significantly compared to factory wood/plastic while offering superior strength and no thermal deformation under heavy fire
- Precision aircraft aluminum construction with tough Cerakote finish – resistant to corrosion, scratches, and extreme conditions
- Drop-in installation – replaces the standard handguard easily (no gunsmith required), retains use of original iron sights
- Dimensions: Length 257 mm | Width 38 mm | Height 72 mm
- Ideal for tactical builds, 3-gun competition, home defense, hunting, or suppressed setups – solves common AK/Saiga optic mounting issues with modern modularity
