Mount optics reliably on your Saiga hunting rifle, AK-47, AK-74, or AKM with the ME Top Cover with Picatinny Rail from Military Equipment (ME). This quick-detach receiver dust cover features a full monolithic Picatinny (Weaver/1913) rail milled from a single billet of premium aviation 2024T aluminum alloy, weighing only 160 grams while delivering unmatched strength, precision, and low weight.
The innovative spring-return button locking system with original rear fixation eliminates any backlash — the cover holds zero perfectly, with no point of aim (POI) shift when removed and reinstalled, even after heavy recoil, field abuse, or frequent swaps. This addresses the biggest pain point for stamped AK owners: stable top-mounted optics (red dots, collimators, LPVOs, holographic sights, magnifiers) at ideal eye relief without side mounts or constant re-zeroing.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Monolithic Picatinny rail on the top cover for optimal eye distance and comfortable shooting
- Zero-hold design — POI unchanged after removal/installation (no backlash)
- Quick-detach mechanism — fast optic swaps while keeping native mechanical parts (cleaning rod, etc.)
- Milled from single blank of aviation 2024T aluminum — superior accuracy, durability, and lightweight construction
- Drop-in installation — replaces factory dust cover the same way, no gunsmithing required
- Perfect for stamped receiver platforms: Saiga hunting carbines, AK-47, AK-74, AKM variants
- Ideal upgrade for hunting, tactical shooting, competition, or defensive use with optics
Enjoy rock-solid top optics mounting on your AK/Saiga — better ergonomics, no zero loss, premium Ukrainian craftsmanship from ME.
