Authentic Russian Izhmash Bakelite 30-Round Magazine – 5.45x39mm for AK-74 / AK-47 PlatformsElevate your AK collection with this genuine Russian-made Izhmash Bakelite magazine, a true piece of military history chambered in 5.45x39mm with 30-round capacity. Manufactured by the legendary Izhmash factory (now Kalashnikov Concern), these classic “Bakelite” magazines are constructed from durable AG-4 phenolic resin (glass-reinforced composite commonly called Bakelite) with reinforced metal feed lips, rear locking lug, and steel floorplate for exceptional reliability and longevity.
Featuring the distinctive mottled orange-brown finish, Izhmash arsenal markings, and proven performance in AK-74, AKS-74, and compatible 5.45x39mm rifles, this magazine was the original standard-issue design for Soviet/Russian forces. Though production shifted to polymer in the 1980s, these Bakelite originals remain highly sought after by collectors, shooters, and AK enthusiasts for their rugged build, smooth feeding, and historical significance.
