Own a true piece of AK-47 history with this rare Russian Izhmash Spine-Stamped Magazine — a genuine 2nd Euro Pattern Rib steel magazine in excellent condition from the early 1950s. Produced by Izhmash (the legendary Izhevsk factory), these early spine-stamped magazines came right after the iconic back-stamped versions and represent one of the earliest evolutions in Soviet AK-47 magazine design.

Featuring the distinctive 2nd European rib pattern (three vertical and five horizontal reinforcing ribs) and the factory mark stamped on the spine, this magazine showcases the transition from slab-sided and back-stamped designs to the more modern ribbed style. The black enamel finish, heavy-gauge steel construction, and precise feed lips deliver the legendary reliability that made the Kalashnikov famous.

Key Features:

• Ultra-Rare Early Izhmash Spine Stamp — Authentic factory marking on the spine, produced in the early 1950s (post back-stamp era).
• 2nd Euro Pattern Rib Design — Classic reinforcing ribs that improved strength and durability over earlier patterns.
• Excellent Condition — Rare surplus-grade example with minimal wear — perfect for collectors or display.
• 30-Round Capacity — Standard double-stack design chambered in 7.62x39mm.
• Original Black Enamel Finish — Period-correct military coating for authentic Soviet appearance.

This is not a common later-production magazine. These early 1950s Russian Izhmash spine-stamped AK magazines are highly sought after by serious collectors due to their limited production window and historical importance in the development of the AK platform. Whether you’re building a numbers-matching early AK, enhancing your collection, or simply want the most authentic vintage magazine available, this is a must-have piece.
