The Ultimate Performance Upgrade for Your M&PThe Apex Fully Machined Sear was the first aftermarket part designed to revolutionize the Smith & Wesson M&P trigger system. These “1-Dot” or “2-Dots” versions is specifically engineered to provide a crisp, glass-like break while significantly reducing the heavy, “mushy” feel of the factory sear. Whether you’re a competitive shooter or an everyday carrier, this drop-in component is the single most impactful internal upgrade you can make.
Key Performance Benefits:
- Reduced Pull Weight: Dramatically lowers the trigger pull weight to sub-5.0 lbs (exact results vary by firearm model).
- Shorter Over-Travel: Minimizes the distance the trigger travels after the sear releases, allowing for faster and more precise shot delivery.
- Improved Reset: Enhances the tactile and audible feel of the trigger reset, enabling quicker follow-up shots.
- Direct Drop-In: Precision-machined to exacting tolerances, this sear requires no fitting or gunsmithing
Precision Engineering & DurabilityUnlike the factory stamped-steel sear, the Apex version is fully machined from hardened A2 tool steel. This provides a significantly more durable engagement surface that won’t wear down or change its profile over thousands of rounds. Its unique geometry is what delivers the signature “Apex feel” that M&P owners have trusted for over a decade.
