The TWS Dog Leg Rail Gen 3 for M85/M92 from Texas Weapon Systems is the premier Picatinny scope rail and integrated dust cover solution designed specifically for Zastava M85 and M92 (including Z-PAP models). This patented Gen-3 upgrade replaces your factory dust cover with a rock-solid, forward-hinged design that delivers superior balance, extended rail real estate, and reliable optic protection—without the heat issues of barrel-mounted mounts.
Engineered for AK enthusiasts who demand the best optics performance on compact Krink-style pistols, the Dog Leg Rail mounts directly over the receiver for optimal weapon balance and generous MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail space. It shields delicate red dots or magnified optics from extreme barrel temperatures, ensuring consistent zero and accuracy during rapid fire. The ingeniously simple yet rugged construction features a forward-hinged cover with a rear cam lock release button, preserving full AK field-stripping capability while guaranteeing a repeatable return to zero every time.
Unlike side-mount or rear sight replacements, this top-cover rail provides the lowest possible mounting height for faster target acquisition and better cheek weld. Ideal for tactical builds, home defense, or range use where quick red dot access or magnified precision is key.
